Why should I use a Wedding Planner?

I love planning events, and I especially love helping brides plan their wedding.  Whilst some people enjoy wedding planning, it is okay if you do not. We don’t expect everyone to like accounting. 
With busy lives why not get someone else to do the planning, after all you will only ever plan one wedding. Why not trust someone that has done it many times?

Do I need a Wedding Planner?

You don't need one, but you might want one! You can of course do the planning yourself and that is part of the fun! But planning a Wedding can also be stressful. 
Our role is to ensure you get the wedding you want, we have no personal agenda or bias. So we don’t mind if Aunty June doesn’t make it onto the invitation list.

Can't I just get my friends and family to help?

I am sure they would love to help, but you want them to enjoy your day and not be stressed out. They want to enjoy the wedding with you, not spend the day working.

Question 4

What is the difference between a Venue Coordinator and a Wedding Planner?

Accepted Answer

A venue coordinator will assist you in all of the details that involve the venue. Catering, tables, chairs etc.  They are a great resource but they wont be able to assist you with details for other aspects of your wedding. For example selecting your florist, wedding cars and bridal party gifts ideas etc.

Do you get a commission for using certain vendors?

Accepted Answer

No we don't, any industry discounts are passed on directly to you!  We are happy to work with your choice of vendors, however we also know a great range of quality vendors, should you need any referrals.

Question 7

I have booked everything. Is it too late to get some help?

Accepted Answer

Not at all, many brides are happy to make the initial bookings but then find that the details can get too much. We can tailor a package to assist you with these details and ensure that nothing has been missed. You may also want to just book and set up and pack down package.

How much do your planning services cost?

Some indicative prices are listed here.(javascript:void(0)) These packages are samples and can be tailored to include what you individually need. If we are involved in booking your suppliers then any industry rates will be passed on to you.  Hiring us does not necessarily cost you more than your planned budget.

Do you plan other events?

Accepted Answer

Yes we also plan other events such as corporate events, anniversaries, engagement parties and other special occasions. We are happy to help with any function.

We are based in Christchurch, but can travel if required.
